Ford Will Start Manufacturing ’32 Ford Bodies Again

Have you ever wanted to build your own “Deuce Coup”? Well now is your chance to build and own an original body manufactured by Ford. Ford Component Sales has decided to start manufacturing the iconic body that was so popular with American Servicemen that were returning from WWII.

In a Press Release issued by Ford, builders can buy classic V8 powertrains or contact Ford Racing for one of their “crate motors”. Ford Restoration Parts Licensing Program offers more than 9,000 parts, for vehicles from the Model T to 2007 models.

The ’32 Ford 5 Window Shell, which debuted at SEMA 2013, is stamped from all new metal, and welded and assembled with state of the art fixtures to maintain dimensional integrity. Buyers will also receive a rest-preventative coating, to help ensure these new bodies will last generations.

Along with the bodies, Ford says they will be offering other parts like fenders, radiators, and badging.

Look forward to seeing a number of these new Ford bodies at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas!
